Chew Stoke
is a country village to the South West of Bristol, next to Chew Valley Lake and about 5 minutes away from Bristol International Airport.
The Chew Stoke Harvest Home
is a fun family event that is taking place on Saturday 6th September 2008 and Sunday 7th September 2008 which involves exhibits, fun games to play, flower show, dog show, art show, raffle and a horse show.
There is also a Rock and Roll 60's Night in the evening and Sunday lunch the day afterwards.
Harvest Home Sunday Lunch
Harvest service starts at 12noon, with Sunday lunch starting at 12:30pm for 1:00pm, with an after dinner speaker and music. Tickets will be approximately £10.00 each, and will be for sale in the Chew Stoke village shop/garage.
Raffle
The annual raffle is taking place again this year. Thanks to all the local companies who support us. Please buy some tickets - top prize £200 cash. Further prizes will be published here shortly.
Volunteers are needed for the Harvest Home
We welcome local new faces at our committee meetings to help with various tasks for the Harvest Home, so whether you are new to the village or have lived in the village quite a while, please feel free to come along, especially if you have any new ideas. Everyone on the committee give up their free time to hold and promote this event.
Regular Skittles Evenings

To drum up a bit of Chew Stoke community spirit, we thought it might be fun to have quarterly skittles evenings. Anyone from the village can come along and play, you don't have to be associated with the Harvest Home. We usually meet in the bar at about 7:15pm so please do make an effort to come along. Contact us with any queries. Venue - The skittle alley, The Stoke Inn, Chew Stoke, Time 8:00pm September 30th 2008 December 3rd 2008 plus Christmas do. |
