Yes folks – its that time of year again when the villagers of Chew Stoke invite all budding farmers, gardeners, dog and pet owners, equestrians, artists, photographers, music lovers and ‘have a go’ sports enthusiasts to take part in this year’s Autumn Harvest Home celebrations.


If you’ve grown the biggest pumpkins in the Chew Valley – we want to know about it!

Chew Stoke is a small, rural NE Somerset village situated roughly equidistant between Bristol, Bath and Wells. We are adjacent to Chew Valley Lake, surrounded by beautiful farmland hills and orchards & approximately 10 minutes from Bristol airport.

 

Saturday September 6th

9 am - All day Horse Show - £2 per vehicle, 50p pedestrians, late arrivals + £1

12.30pm onwards - Main Arena displays & competitions, Rodeo Bull, live music, Flower Show, Dog and Pet Show, Art Show, exhibits, stalls, car boot, tractor rides, assault course, Punch & Judy, Raffle, beer & tea tent.

 

1pm - Celebrity Pete Budd of famed West Country band 'The Wurzels' officially opens the celebrations in the main arena in Hedgehogs' Field.


Tickets £2 pre event, £2.50 at the gate, (children under 14 Free)

From 8pm – Rock ‘n’ Roll ‘60’s Night.
Music from ‘The Midnight Shadows and a hot supper – Tickets £12.50

 

Sunday September 7th

12 noon - Harvest Home Thanksgiving Service
12.30 for 1pm - Sunday Lunch –Gerald Young entertains! - Tickets £10
